    Seattle Magazine names Dr. Julie Carkin to its list of Top Docs for 2008. The rheumatologist practices at The Seattle Arthritis Clinic, specializing in the treatment of osteoporosis. Seattle Magazine’s annual Top Doctors list is based on a survey sent to more than 11,000 physicians in the greater Seattle area, with input from an advisory panel of physicians. The survey asked respondents to name providers in 110 specialties whom they would seek out for their own care or recommend to their loved ones.     Dr. Julie Carkin has been named to Seattle Magazine's list of Top Docs for 2007.The magazine’s annual list, which was published in the September 2007 issue, is based on a survey of more than 10,000 physicians throughout the Puget Sound area, as well as a variety of complementary healthcare providers. The survey asked respondents to name the provider they would seek out or recommend to their loved ones in 96 specialty areas, regardless of hospital, clinic or health plan affiliation. Dr. Carkin, who has been named to the list for the past several years, was named as a Top Doc in rheumatology.
